This blog was created as a place for parents and supporters of In The Beginning preschool in Raleigh to share thoughts and ideas about supporting and furthering the ministry of ITB and of the Helen and Ray Winter family.
The motivation for this blog was the desire of several current ITB parents to come together to commemorate the life and memory of Raymond Winter, Jr. with a lasting tribute that also furthers the ministry of ITB. The concept includes the establishment of a non-profit organization through which tax deductible donations could be made. The funds raised would be reserved for temporary financial assistance to parents of children at ITB who experience financial hardship and who otherwise may be unable to continue to enroll their children at ITB. The initial group of parents sought and received permission from the Winter family to move forward in commemorating Raymond Jr's life in this way, and now we need your help and involvement!
More information will be posted soon about how you can be involved in the project to create this fund. In the meantime we need your ideas. Please leave comments below about your thoughts on fundraising, creation of the nonprofit, or other helpful thoughts.
